Welder / Skilled Weld Technician (Night Shift)

Role

As a Weld / Weld Technician you will be responsible to carry out assembly/welding operations as directed by the operation. You will be MIG welding to a high standard so you will need to demonstrate and provide evidence of your ability to work at this level. The position will also involve preparation, assembly work and associated tasks.

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Maintain the highest levels of product quality and workmanship.
  •  Ensuring the completing products in a timely and efficient manner.
  •  Excellent adherence to Health & Safety rules and regulations
  •  Maintain and drive a culture of continuous improvement in all areas.
  •  Good practical problem-solving skills
  •  A willingness to understand Lean Manufacturing Tool & Techniques
  •  Good coaching skills

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required 

  •  Must have proven track record within a Welding position.
  •  Experience with MIG welding.
  •  Excellent at problem solving.
  •  Able to read and work accurately from engineering drawings.
