Working in partnership with Warrington & Vale Royal College (Hartford Campus) we have developed two apprenticeship programmes; Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering and Manufacturing. Tiger apprentices learn and experience all the major manufacturing stages in the production process. Working with a skilled mentor they spend 4 months in each department (including fabrication, chassis build, assembly, air and electrical systems through to trailer completion). They are supported throughout the programme with regular reviews and assessments at each key stage.


As a Shot Blast Technician / Shot Blaster working nights you will be responsible for shot blasting various metals and heavy fabrications. Reporting to the Manufacturing Area Leader you will be efficiently and effectively preparing all steel components for the application of protective coating.


As a Logistics Technician, you will play a vital role in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to the highest level of quality in Tiger Trailer's new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. By assisting with the set-up of the production lines and supporting the flow of materials throughout the factory. Your role will include kit making, and the delivery of parts to the production lines. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels and replenishing Kanban storage areas in line with our MRP system. In addition, you will maintain good housekeeping in the material storage areas and ensure records are kept of all stock movements.


As a skilled Weld Technician, you will play a key role in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to the highest level of quality in Tiger Trailer's new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Working with various materials including a range of steels. This role will include welding assemblies to a high level of quality. Analysing technical drawings and specification sheets and be able to identify weld symbols. You will be responsible for carrying out precise measurements and accurately marking out. You must be able to select the correct materials and be skilled in cutting materials by burning, disc cutting or by machine. A high level of skill is required to perform various tasks including assembly of parts, drilling, cutting, riveting, welding and grinding.


As a skilled coachbuilder, you will play a key role in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to the highest level of quality in Tiger Trailer's new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role will include working with various materials including hardwoods, fibreglass, steel and aluminium. A high level of skill is required to perform various tasks including assembly of parts, drilling, cutting, riveting, welding and grinding.


As a Skilled Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to the highest level of quality in Tiger Trailer's new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role will include working with various materials including hardwoods, fibreglass, steel and aluminium. A high level of skill is required to perform various tasks including chassis assembly, drilling, cutting, riveting, and grinding.


As a Skilled Quality Technician, you will play a key role in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to the highest level of quality in Tiger Trailer's new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Ensuring each Tiger product is completed to specification by performing detailed quality checks on finished products. Working with the office administration team you will be responsible for the Coordination of Quality Inspection reports and VOSA certification. You will be responsible for carrying out the final assessment of each finished trailer ensuring only the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.


As a Skilled Auto Electrician, you will play a key role in producing a finished trailer or vehicle body to the highest level of quality in Tiger Trailer's new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for producing complete electrical installations on trailers and vehicle bodies. You will be responsible for wiring up electrical systems and carrying out diagnostic checks, troubleshooting and rectify any faults, ensuring the highest levels of organisation and product quality in your area.


You will be responsible for day-to-day IT management within the company in conjunction with our IT support provider and software development team, and being the first point of call for end users with IT queries. You will continue to maintain, develop and improve all the IT systems to facilitate the company's business operations and strong growth plans, using IT to help the company gain a competitive advantage. 


As a Goods In Technician you will ensure the smooth flow and delivery of material through the site from receipt of deliveries to the dispatch of finished product to our customers.

Equipped with a recognised FLT license from a training provider you will be loading and unloading trailers, booking in and quality assessing materials delivered to site including documentation of stock taking.


As a Weld / Weld Technician you will be responsible to carry out assembly/welding operations as directed by the operation. You will be MIG welding to a high standard so you will need to demonstrate and provide evidence of your ability to work at this level. The position will also involve preparation, assembly work and associated tasks.
