FACTORY

THE FACTORY

Tiger’s unique manufacturing process is carried out under one roof. The very latest plant and equipment have been installed to enable the total manufacture of each model from fabrication to finish paint.

Tiger manufactures both chassis and body together as one process. The manufacturing follows a seven-stage process and starts with the automated I beam machine, where chassis I beams are fabricated to form the main structure of the unique Tiger chassis design, which allows customers the choice of either painted or hot-dipped galvanised finish.

The process continues from chassis assembly, electric and braking installation, to body assembly, final finish and pre-delivery inspection.

“TO PRODUCE EVERY PRODUCT IN A SINGLE PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH, ALL UNDER ONE ROOF”

Mark and his management team

Integrated within the factory are all of Tiger’s systems and personnel. Sales, engineering, IT, HR, accounts, in addition to visitors meeting rooms, ensure a permanent 'touch' is kept with the factory shop floor.

Our continuous investment into the factory has seen the recent installation of a new 10metre high bay pallet racking system, additional crances, forklifts, state-of-the-art LED lighting throughout the factory and car park expansion to accommodate our growing workforce

Mark Hudson, Production Director said, "Tiger now employs 150 people from the surrounding area with a wide range of skill-sets. From apprentices, to welders, bodybuilders, electricians and painters. The combination of our fantastic modern factory, our continuous programme of investing in the training and development of our workforce, comes together to give us an end product, that we are all truly proud of."

In April 2014, we took ownership of a warehouse with pallet racking. Since then, we have turned it into the UK’s most modern trailer and body manufacturing facility. This multimillion pound investment into plant and equipment has taken place in parallel with recruiting and training the Tiger workforce to produce the high-quality products we see today. The whole approach to manufacturing is to produce every product in a single process from start to finish, all under one roof. The chassis and body are manufactured together as one production line
