CASE STUDIES

B&M Retail

B&M placed their first order for Tiger trailers back in July 2014. They were attracted to Tiger due to our ability to manufacture a trailer to their exact standards and the experience of the design team. In 12 months, over 120 double decks have now been supplied.
The high-specification trailers have painted chassis, SAF axles and suspension wth internal suspension control. Galvanised bearers support the 30mm Metsä phenolic-coated floors, which are fitted to both lower and top decks.

Dee Set

Dee Set, based in Stoke-on-Trent, is a leading complete retail solution provider, working with a large number of high street names, including Asda, Boots and Morrisons.
They operate a fleet of over 25 trailers, 17 tractor units and four rigid vehicles. In 2014 they had a requirement to increase their double deck trailer fleet. The specification requirement was van construction with three-quarter moving deck. These trailers were the first Tiger Van Double Deck trailers to be built.

Expert Logistics

Expert Logistics are part of the AO World PLC. They are specialists in two-man home delivery, with over 25 year's of experience delivering white and brown goods throughout the UK.
From their hub at Crewe, they send products overnight to nine out bases, utilising double deck trailers and then deliver onto customers’ homes with 7.5 and 3.5t vehicles. In October 2014 AO World Plc launched in Germany. Expert Logistics were tasked to implement a completely new transport operation, utilising double deck trailers, to maximise volume and efficiency, for their trunking between out bases. The immediate challenge when operating high-volume trailers in mainland Europe, is the overall height restriction of 4 metres.
